An announcement from Dr. Van Der Aa:

Bloomfield Families, Due to dense fog in many areas throughout the district including some slick roads, we will operate on a two hour delay today, February 16. Please use the extra time this morning and stay safe,
Bloomfield School District will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, February 2. Some areas are still not passable for a school bus. If you live in an affected area, your child's bus driver will contact you. Please use the two hour delay to leave with extra time and to take extra precaution.
Unfortunately, some county roads have drifted back over, creating unsafe conditions in several areas of our district for transporting students. Due to these conditions, school will be closed again tomorrow, January 30.
While we are eager to be back in school with our students, this decision was made with their safety as our top priority. There will be no eLearning tomorrow. Instead, we will apply for a flexibility waiver for the day. Once we hear back from the DOE, we will share any updates, or confirm if there are no changes, to our school calendar.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. Please stay safe and warm!

As we continue to prioritize safety, tomorrow, January 29th, we will not have school. After three days of synchronous eLearning, tomorrow will be a traditional snow day.
